Friends since their days at architecture school and longtime design collaborators, Ili Hidalgo and Luly Melarti quickly recognized a niche in the design and construction world. They set out to capture that niche by creating a design-build studio where the architects, the interior designers and the contractors work under one roof, share a unified design vision, a common budget, and operate under one single-point of contact. This team approach creates a client-centered experience that is uniquely simple and stress-free. From this vision of white-glove service to our customers, and design-focused construction, Terracotta was born in 2005.
Their design-savvy approach is rounded out by seasoned builder and partner Maurie Hullender, who joined the team at inception and oversees all construction.
